Pieces will be red, pinkish-red, or dark red in color (depending on seasonality).

There will be no rotten pieces or pieces with sprouts.

Slight black spots on the surface, a single layer of outer skin or partial skin loss, a head crown, or joined articles are acceptable (depending on seasonality).

The diameter of each piece will be at least 40 mm, with a 5% size tolerance.
